Hi and happy year everyone! There’s a brilliant new album by Talib Kweli and Madlib to download from the Stones Throw records site. It seems that the überproducer Madlib saved his best beats for the lyricist, the black Dante: Talib Kweli.

It’s pure soul, dense like a fine sauce reduced to the essentials. And Kweli is still the brilliant storyteller and commentator, with his mindsharp words and his flow that’s like a dance. The records is called “Liberation” and the music is free like the ideas, reflection of the reality, hopefully happening in everyone’s mind. Thank you for this new years present!
