Dubstep in the mix: Skream

SkreamPicture by Warp recordsWeekend come, thank god it’s friday, parties all over Berlin, hard to mention them all, let me just recommend one plaze: Pokerflat Night at Watergate, my pal Patrick Gräser is going to play there, straight techhouse music, deep and funky.

But here’s for something totally different: Since I am back from London I have been infected again by the massive dub, breaks and step virus. One thing definitely feeds this disease is Skream’s essential dubstep mix from this june on BBC One presented by Pete Tong.

    mister & misses glitter waren donnerstag bis montag in london. geflogen sind wir, um uns an drei von vier nächten mit den dubstep-leuten rum zutreiben: fwd @ plastic people (bestes sound system ever), dmz @ mass club (hat seine besten tage hinter sich, trotzdem nett) und so eine kleine sonntagssache über einer bar in shoreditch. toll wars! :)

    falls du in der nacht in berlin bist, streich dir bitte sofort den 20.10. fett rot im kalender an. falls du zufällig auch noch old-school garage / 2step magst empfehle ich zusätzlich noch den 21.09. details kommen per email: ich wollte dir ja eh längst mal wieder schreiben….
