[...] I talked about week-end Berlin here already several times, especially this post has gained some attention. Now, after opening another room in the 15th floor of the same skyscraper, they did their masterpiece by turning the roof of one Berlin’s highest buildings into a club area. You have an amazing view over the city from there and it’s a perfect place to watch the sunset and listen to some housy beats. [...]

You know, the time I spent living in Europe I really enjoyed it. As far as clubbing/partying goes, I loved partying in big crowds, staying out every weekend until the sun came up, and observing some really decadant parties.

I loved how many headliners one could see, and I miss that in the US a great deal... ...one can really have the chance to catch all kinds of music.

The down side to all of that is that people are saturated with it over there, and more surprising still is that the music isn't as good as it could be too often because there's always tomorrow night, and the night after that. Also, the people will get snobby and sit around in some drug-crazed stupor (like in that video) thinking they are the coolest party people in the known universe, which gets old fast. I mean, that would be a great party if people were on their feet dancing. Practically no one dances. They just march in place and pop another pill.

Now, in the midwest of the USA- Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit... when the party is bangin, people get into it! They dance, get loud, and really feel the music. It might be on an earlier schedule, but it really can be a long night when you start at 10 pm and go til 4 am, then go to an after hours...

Just some observations.. I love partying on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean for different reasons. Keep the reviews coming, Stylewalker! :-)

don't know the phb (but heard it must be cool, heard this from suzi w.'s boyfriend), but of course the panoramabar, where the party doesn't really start until the morning hours... but when they quickly open and close the sun-blinds the people really go crazy...
well maybe i should sometime visit the weekend, but i'm too scared of the hip and snobby mitte-crew there... (prejudices are just too great! haha).

Oh. Be sure it was a cool morning. Actually, I was never a big fan of Weekend, sometimes it's really snobby.
But Saturday was awesome
Pbar? Or did you mean <a href="http://www.lichtundklang.info/?cat=16">PHB</a>?
Cool place, too, I was there until 2am and I am going back certainly.
