I am glad I took the long way to Hospitalet yesterday – because the concert was great. These guys are stars to come, they are so hot! Good music and a solid fanbase. An energetic show and a variety of songs. If I get the chance to see them, I will definetely go again!

That’s why I added them to the “Stylewalker artists” – people I like and I want to help with promoting their music.

The concert started around 12 o’clock, a lot of people had come. It is a small venue, very personal with a deep bass sound. Before they were playing reggae and hip hop music and Catalounge started with a long instrumental intro that reminded me of Nightmares on Wax or Soul City. Later on they had really funky pieces but the rapper made clear that apart from making the people dance he also has a message to tell. “Pide tus derechos” he told the audience various times.
The last song was furious then – pretty cross-overy (reminded me of Control Machete..) the people and musicians danced all over the place turning the small bar into a smoking club. Great job, Catalounge, keep up with the good music!
