To anybody who is interested in movie marketing on the internet, I can provide a nice presentation (PDF) I held in a seminar last week.
I did not have too much time to draw an appropriate picture of the millions of creative possibilities to promote movies on the internet, yet I found some nice examples and even scientific material who is giving more prove to the importance of word-of-mouth information flow for movies, especially on the internet and the possibilities to create strong ties to film fans with extra-services and direct communication. The presentation is in German and has been held at the Freie Universität, Berlin, FB Medienökonomie.
